Cute little diner. Reasonable prices and good coffee. I had the Boji omelette which was very good, the bacon was amazing!
The food is mediocre and today the service was REALLY slow. At least the drip coffee is decent and it was a cool place to sit down.
It was really good I had the bacon cheese burger omelet 👍
Homemade cinnamon and pecan rolls to die for! Food is very good except the sausage gravy was to much flour! Will definitely go back on next visit! Thanks so much.
Solid diner food that's filling and well prepared, nothing particularly unique or exciting about the food or menu options, though.
Always a great place. Good food and service.
Delicious food great service in a amazing throwback environment. Would highly recomend
Wonderful food and service!
Greasy spoon diner with a small town atmosphere. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, but definitely come here if you're hungry for some delicious dishes (cinnamon rolls are 6 out of 5 stars).
Amazing cinnamon rolls! Great service and other breakfast foods. Definite recommendation for breakfast.
Took my daughter in for before school breakfast. Was first disappointed in the lack of options. They have ham, sausage and bacon only. Ok fine. I ordered a 12 dollar specialty hashbrown. It was very pathetic. The black olives tasted like aluminum can, the meat was so ground up I could barely tell it had any at all, I basically paid for hashbrowns with cheese for $12. I also ordered a half biscuits and gravy. It was worse than the hashbrowns. Cold, frozen then thawed old biscuit that was so hard I could barely cut it, and what tastes like canned gravy. The portion most certainly didn't match the price. My daughter loved her cinnamon roll however. Just sad that we spent $32 on breakfast that was way below what was expected. For what they charge, they should atleast try.
Okay breakfast but in a charming vintage diner with friendly service. Great cinnamon roll!
The best, great food. Always welcoming to locals and visitors. Do check it out.
Love eating here! Food is great, waiters are so friendly and efficient and I like to give my business to our local cafe owners! Your coffee is the best!
Prices are great 4 people can get breakfast under 30 dollars. Good food nice staff
Omelette was super filling and staff was friendly, would come here again!
The cinnamon french toast! Yum the place is small, staff could smile more
Excellent food quality and service!!
small little cafe style building. very busy place. we went around 10 am. price seems high but wait till you get your food. pancakes as big as your plate, sausage as big as a 1/4 hamburger. you won't leave hungry.
Good food, kitchen is slow for such a small place 30 min wait for food on a Monday morning
Used to be my number one breakfast spot. It's gone down a bit in quality in the last few years but it's still a pretty good place. Waits can get pretty long on the summer weekends and around summer holidays. I really hope this place is able to return to it's glory days.EDIT: Turns out they do accept plastic payment, no worries there!
Koffee Kup was once the star of the Lakes Area breakfast Cafes. While the food is still pretty good, the quality isn't what it used to be and it is overpriced compared to other local cafes; one egg with hashbrowns is around $6 about +$3 over the price of one egg, egg omelets run about $10 . Drinks are extra.Handy location makes for waits during peak summer months. Overall the Koffe Kup is a fading old star with average service. It would be great to see it return to it's former star status.
Only thing I didn't like was gravy. Not homemade sausage gravy.Hash browns could have been more Brown.Rest of food looked made to order.
Great food, great service, a bit expensive
The food was delicious & the staff was so nice!! Great place for breakfast!!!
One of the best breakfast spots in all of Iowa!!!!
Stopped in for sunday morning breakfast with my girlfriend, amazing food very friendly people great service.
Always friendly, good food, reasonably priced. Usually busy, so you know it's good. Best biscuits & gravy around!
We arrived about 10 am today for a late breakfast at the counter. It was busy. Received menus. Twenty minutes later, still no offer of water or coffee, nor any approach by staff. We left.
Didn't enjoy the food that much. Bacon was too chewy (thick), hash browns were greasy. Even the eggs were rubbery. Other people in my party enjoyed their pancakes. Prices were good.
Great little breakfast place!
Food was good only complaint is make sure you bring cash as they don't except checks and charge you $1.00 to use your debit or credit card. There is a small sign noting this but would be nice if it were in a more noticeable location (instead of on the register as you leave to pay)
A little pricey for breakfast, didn't expect to spend nearly $50 for my family of three. Food was good, service was very good!
Best breakfast in Okoboji Aronolds Park area hands down
Best place for breakfast
Very nice place, small restaurant. Staff was attentive and they have amazing biscuits and gravy!
Staff was unpleasant and had to ask for water multiple times before getting it
The food was amazing the hosts and waiters, waitresses, are friendly and amazing
Great food and they even had non dairy milk for our vegan friend!
We were very disappointed in this place. They were defiantly not going to bring our order out to the parking lot, but made us come inside despite the fact nobody was wearing masks and the space is quite small. Not only that, but they did not include my daughter's breakfast in the bag, and when we called to get that fixed, they said they could not deal with it at that time, please call back later. What food we did receive of our order was decent, but the coffee was awful, weak and bitter.
My family owns a diner very similar to this and I love these smaller hometown owned cafes. Food and atmosphere were perfect for me. Had the french toast plus bacon and very much enjoyed it.
Very good employees and customer service.
Food was good, but it couldn't make up for the poor service.
Sat down, ordered breakfast and a cinnamon roll for the kids to share. Food came an hour later, and they'd manage to sell out of the rolls by then (there were at least two dozen in the cabinet when we sat down). The kids were crushed, not to mention starving. Food was stone cold when it was dropped off. Cheap though, so there's that.
Great coffee, amazing breakfast burritos
We were seated and had drinks very quickly, food came soon and was excellent.
Stopped for breakfast at 9:50. Ordered French Toast and they said they didn't have any available. While eating they turned away 3 new customers and closed at 10 am. No lunch menu available and charge 1.00 to use a debit or credit card. Service has gone down hill.
Location place great for breakfast. Try the Carmel rolls
